Bordeaux

The best time to visit Bordeaux is during the shoulder seasons, from April to June and September to October. The weather is pleasant, the crowds are smaller, and you can enjoy the vineyards and outdoor activities comfortably. July and August are also popular, but can be hot and crowded.

Bordeaux has an excellent public transportation system, including trams, buses, and a bike-sharing program. Walking is also a great way to explore the city center. For visiting the vineyards, renting a car or taking a guided tour is recommended.

Bordeaux is known for its gastronomy. Be sure to try the canelés (small, custard-filled cakes), oysters from Arcachon, entrecôte steak, and, of course, the local wines. A food tour is a great way to sample the local delicacies.
