The best time to visit Bucaramanga is during the dry season, from December to March and July to August, when the weather is most pleasant for outdoor activities. However, the city enjoys a relatively consistent climate year-round, so you can visit anytime.

Some must-see attractions include Parque García Rovira, Parque de los Niños, the Cathedral of the Holy Family, and the Ecoparque Cerro del Santísimo. A day trip to the Chicamocha Canyon is also highly recommended.

Be sure to try the local specialties such as arepas santandereanas, mute (a hearty soup), cabrito (roasted baby goat), and hormigas culonas (large, roasted ants), a local delicacy.
