Mooloolaba offers a wide range of activities, including swimming, surfing, and sunbathing at Mooloolaba Beach. You can also visit the SEA LIFE Mooloolaba aquarium, go whale watching (seasonal), explore the Mooloolaba Spit, and enjoy the many shops and restaurants along the Esplanade.

The best time to visit Mooloolaba is during the shoulder seasons (spring and autumn) when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. Summer is also popular, but it can be hot and crowded. Whale watching season runs from June to November.

Mooloolaba is easily accessible. The Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) is the closest airport, located approximately 15 minutes away by car. You can also drive from Brisbane, which is about a 1.5-hour drive. Public transport options, such as buses, are available from various locations on the Sunshine Coast.
