The Commonwealth of Australia is the only country that has a whole continent to itself; famous for its natural wonders and wide open spaces, its beaches, deserts, "the bush", and "the Outback". It is also a highly urbanised, with cosmopolitan cities such as Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.\nAustralia has an indigenous culture of over 60,000 years, with a more recent history of truely global immigration from Europe, the Middle east and Asia. There is nowhere else quite like it.
