Akumal

Akumal is a small beach community located on the Caribbean coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, about 100 km south of Cancun.

The easiest way to get to Akumal is to fly into Cancun International Airport and then take a bus or taxi to Akumal, which is about an hour's drive south.

Akumal is known for its beautiful beaches and clear waters that offer excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities. You can also explore the nearby Tulum ruins, swim in cenotes, and visit the eco-parks.

The best time to visit Akumal is from December to April when the weather is dry and sunny, making it perfect for outdoor activities. However, this is also the peak tourist season, so expect higher prices and larger crowds.
