AI Assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP clients)
Earth Roulette offers a public MCP server at https://earthroulette.com/mcp. AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude can connect to it to find random destinations and cheap flights. It needs no account and no sign-in.
What we receive: only the search details the assistant sends to answer your request (continents, activity tags, cost level, weather, travel month, number of results, place names, origin and destination airports, airport or city names to look up, price limit, and currency) and the IP address of the server that makes the request, which is usually the assistant provider's server, not your device. We do not receive your name, email address, chat history, or assistant account details.
How we use it: to answer the request, and the IP address to limit abusive traffic.
Retention: we do not store the search details in our database. The IP address stays in server memory for up to one minute for rate limiting. Fare results are cached without any personal data.
Recipients: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes the request. Our flight data provider (Travelpayouts) receives the origin and destination airports, travel month, and currency, but no data about you. When you open a flight, hotel, or tour link from a result, the partner site (Skyscanner, Booking.com, Viator, or the affiliate network that tracks the click) receives that visit under its own privacy policy. The link tells the partner that the visit came from Earth Roulette through an AI assistant.
Your controls: you can disconnect Earth Roulette from your assistant at any time in the assistant's settings. For questions, use our contact form.
