Zaandam

Zaandam is a city located in the province of North Holland in the Netherlands.

Zaandam is easily accessible by train, bus or car. If you are arriving by air, you can fly into Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and take a train or bus to Zaandam. The journey takes around 20 minutes.

Some of the top attractions in Zaandam include the windmills of the Zaanse Schans, the historic center with its traditional wooden houses, the Czaar Peter House, and the shopping center Inverness.

The best time to visit Zaandam is during the summer months of June, July and August when the weather is warm and the days are long. This is also the peak tourist season so it can be quite crowded. If you prefer fewer crowds, you may want to consider visiting in the spring or fall.
