The best time to visit Olbia is during the shoulder seasons, from May to June and September to October. The weather is pleasant, the crowds are smaller, and prices are generally lower than during the peak summer months. July and August are the hottest months, ideal for beach lovers, but also the busiest and most expensive.

Olbia is easily navigable on foot, especially in the city center. For exploring the surrounding areas and beaches, renting a car is recommended. Public transportation, including buses, is available but may be less frequent. Taxis and ride-sharing services are also options for getting around.

Must-see attractions include the Basilica of San Simplicio, the National Archaeological Museum of Olbia, and the historic city center. Don't miss a boat trip to the Maddalena Archipelago, a stunning collection of islands with pristine beaches and turquoise waters.
