Nyon has many interesting sights, including the Roman museum, the castle, the château of Census and the lake promenade.

Nyon is a beautiful destination year-round, but the best time to visit is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and the town is bustling with events.

Nyon is known for its fresh fish from Lake Geneva, especially perch and trout. Other local specialties include sausages and cheese, such as the Gruyère cheese fondue.

Nyon can be reached by train from Geneva or Lausanne in about 20-30 minutes. It is also easily accessible by car, just off the A1 motorway.
