The best time to visit Amalfi is during the shoulder seasons, from April to May and September to October. The weather is pleasant, the crowds are smaller, and prices are generally lower than in the peak summer months.

Amalfi is a small town, and walking is a great way to explore. Public transportation, including buses and ferries, connects Amalfi to other towns along the coast. Taxis are available but can be expensive.
