The Bailiwick of Jersey (French: Bailliage de Jersey, Jèrriais: Bailliage dé Jèrri) is a self-governing British crown dependency. The Channel Islands are the last remnants of the Duchy of Normandy and are considered a separate jurisdiction to the United Kingdom.\nThe island of Jersey is the largest and southernmost of the Channel Islands. It lies in the English Channel, northwest of France.\nThis beautiful island is known by many for the Jersey Cow, Lilly Langtry and Bergerac TV series during the 1980s.
