Bulgaria, officially the Republic of Bulgaria (Bulgarian: Република България) is a country in the Balkans, west of the Black Sea. It borders Romania to the north, Serbia to the northwest, North Macedonia to the southwest, Greece to the south, and Turkey to the southeast.
