The best time to visit Whitstable is during the spring and summer months (May to September) when the weather is generally pleasant, and the town is bustling with activity. However, even in the off-season, Whitstable retains its charm, and you can enjoy a quieter experience.

Must-see attractions include Whitstable Harbour, the iconic colorful beach huts, Whitstable Castle and Gardens, the shops and art galleries on Harbour Street, and the various oyster restaurants and seafood vendors. A walk along the beach and a visit to the local pubs are also highly recommended.

The local cuisine in Whitstable is heavily influenced by its coastal location. Fresh oysters are the star attraction, but you'll also find a wide variety of seafood dishes, including fish and chips, grilled fish, and seafood platters.
