The best time to visit Wenzhou is during the spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) seasons when the weather is mild and pleasant. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are generally mild.

You should definitely try Wenzhou fish balls (鱼丸), glutinous rice cakes (糯米饭), duck tongue, and seafood. There are many local restaurants and street food vendors offering these delicious dishes.
