Tordesillas

The Treaty of Tordesillas, signed in 1494, was an agreement between Spain and Portugal, dividing the newly discovered lands outside of Europe between the two countries along a meridian.

Key attractions include the Royal Monastery of Santa Clara, the Treaty of Tordesillas Museum, and the Plaza Mayor. The town also offers beautiful views of the Duero River.

The best time to visit Tordesillas is during the spring or fall when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. The summer months can be hot, while winters can be cold.
