Tepoztlán

The best time to visit Tepoztlán is during the dry season, from November to April, when the weather is sunny and pleasant. However, the town is enjoyable year-round, with occasional rain showers during the summer months (May to October).

Tepoztlán is easily accessible from Mexico City. You can take a bus from the Taxqueña bus station, which takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Alternatively, you can hire a private car or take a taxi, which offers more flexibility but is generally more expensive.

Climbing the Tepozteco pyramid, exploring the local market for artisan crafts and food, visiting the Ex-Convento de la Natividad, enjoying a temazcal (sweat lodge) experience, and hiking in the surrounding mountains are some of the must-do activities in Tepoztlán.
