Skradin

The most popular and convenient way to reach Krka National Park from Skradin is by boat. Several boat tours depart from Skradin's harbor, offering a scenic journey through the Krka River canyon to the Skradinski Buk waterfall. Alternatively, you can walk or cycle, however, boat is the most popular option.

Besides the Krka National Park, the Church of Our Lady of Health is a must-see. The town itself is a delight to explore, with its narrow streets, stone houses, and harbor. Consider visiting the local restaurants to sample traditional Croatian cuisine and local wines.

The best time to visit Skradin is during the shoulder seasons, spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October), when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. Summer (June-August) is also popular, but it can be very hot and crowded. Winter (November-March) is quieter, but some facilities may have limited hours.
