The best time to visit San Remo is during the spring (April-June) and fall (September-October) when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. Summer (July-August) is also popular, but it can be very busy and hot. Winter is mild, but some attractions may have reduced hours.

San Remo is easily walkable, especially the city center. Public buses are available for longer distances. Taxis are also readily available. For exploring the surrounding areas, renting a car is a good option.
