Quepos

The must-do activities in Quepos include visiting Manuel Antonio National Park for wildlife viewing and beach relaxation, exploring the town's restaurants and bars, and enjoying water sports like surfing and kayaking. Sport fishing charters are also very popular.

The best time to visit Quepos is during the dry season, which runs from December to April. The weather is sunny and dry, perfect for outdoor activities. However, the shoulder seasons (May-June and November) offer fewer crowds and still pleasant weather.

You can fly into the Quepos La Managua Airport (XQP) or fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José and take a bus, shuttle, or rent a car to Quepos. The drive from San José is approximately 3-4 hours.
