Key attractions include the Mercado Público (Public Market), a vibrant hub for food and local products; the Usina do Gasômetro, a cultural center on the Guaíba Lake; the Metropolitan Cathedral; and the Fundação Iberê Camargo, a museum dedicated to the works of the renowned artist.
