The ski season in Perisher typically runs from June to October, with the peak season being July and August. These months usually offer the best snow conditions and weather, but also tend to be the busiest. Consider visiting in early June or late September for fewer crowds and still excellent skiing conditions.

Perisher is accessible by car, bus, and train. The Skitube, a unique alpine railway, provides a convenient way to access the resort from Bullocks Flat. Alternatively, you can drive to the resort, but chains may be required during snowy conditions. Regular bus services also operate from various locations.
