The easiest way to reach the Perhentian Islands is by flying to Kota Bharu or Terengganu in Malaysia. From either airport, take a taxi to the Kuala Besut Jetty, where you can catch a ferry to the islands. The ferry ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes to Perhentian Kecil and slightly longer to Perhentian Besar.
