Patan is easily accessible from Kathmandu. You can take a taxi, a local bus, or a rickshaw. The journey is short, typically taking around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

The best time to visit Patan is during the dry season, from October to May. The weather is pleasant, with clear skies, making it ideal for exploring the city's outdoor attractions. Avoid the monsoon season (June to September) due to heavy rainfall.
