Paraty

The best time to visit Paraty is during the shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October) when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. The peak season (December-February) offers the warmest weather but also sees the highest number of tourists. The rainy season is from November to March, but showers are often short-lived.

You can reach Paraty by bus or car. Buses depart regularly from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, with the journey taking approximately 4-6 hours. Driving is also an option, offering flexibility to explore the surrounding areas. Consider renting a car for day trips to nearby beaches and attractions.

Must-do activities include exploring the historic center, taking a boat tour to the islands and beaches, hiking to waterfalls, and relaxing on the beach.
