The best time to visit Oshkosh is during the summer months (June-August) when the weather is warm and sunny, and many outdoor activities and events are in full swing, including EAA AirVenture in late July.

Must-see attractions include the EAA Aviation Museum, the Oshkosh Public Museum, the Paine Art Center and Gardens, and the Menominee Park Zoo. Don't miss a stroll along the scenic Oshkosh waterfront.

Oshkosh is easily navigable by car. Public transportation is available through the city's bus system. For shorter distances, consider walking or biking, especially along the waterfront and in the downtown area.
