Ohrid

The best time to visit Ohrid is during the shoulder seasons, from May to June and September to October. The weather is pleasant, the crowds are smaller, and the prices are generally lower than in the peak summer months. July and August are the warmest months, but also the busiest.

Must-see attractions include St. John at Kaneo, Samuel's Fortress, the Ancient Theatre of Ohrid, the Church of St. Sophia, and the old town with its charming streets and shops. A boat trip on Lake Ohrid is also highly recommended.
