The best time to visit Nevsehir is during the shoulder seasons, from April to May and September to October. The weather is pleasant for outdoor activities, and the crowds are smaller compared to the peak summer months. The hot air balloon rides are also most reliable during these periods.

The most convenient way to get around is by renting a car, especially if you plan to explore the wider Cappadocia region. Local buses and dolmuş (shared taxis) are available for travel between towns and villages. Taxis are also readily available in Nevsehir. Guided tours are a great option for organized sightseeing.
