Naantali

The best time to visit Naantali is during the summer months (June-August) when the weather is warm, and the days are long. This is also the peak season for Muumimaailma, and many outdoor activities are available. However, the shoulder seasons (May and September) can also be pleasant, with fewer crowds and still enjoyable weather.

Naantali is easily accessible by car, bus, or boat. It is located approximately 15 kilometers (9 miles) from Turku, and regular bus services connect the two cities. Turku Airport is the nearest airport, and from there, you can take a bus or taxi to Naantali. Boat trips to Naantali are also available from Turku and other nearby islands.

Besides Muumimaailma, other must-see attractions include the Old Town, Naantali Church, and the Naantali Spa Hotel. Consider taking a boat trip to the surrounding islands, exploring the local shops and restaurants, and experiencing a traditional Finnish sauna. The Kultaranta, the summer residence of the President of Finland, is also located nearby and offers guided tours.
