Marsala

Marsala is primarily famous for its fortified wine, also called Marsala. It's also known for its beautiful coastline, historical sites, and charming old town.

Key attractions include the archaeological museum, the remains of the Punic ship, the historic city center, the Stagnone Lagoon with its salt pans and windmills, and the nearby Egadi Islands.

The best time to visit Marsala is during the spring (April-May) or fall (September-October) when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. Summer (June-August) is hot and busy, while winter can be mild but with occasional rain.
