Lindau

The best time to visit Lindau is during the shoulder seasons, from May to June and September to October. The weather is pleasant, the crowds are smaller than in peak summer, and you can enjoy the beauty of the lake and surrounding landscapes without the intense heat or large tourist groups. July and August are also popular, but expect higher prices and more visitors.

Must-see attractions in Lindau include the harbor with the Bavarian Lion and lighthouse, the old town with its medieval architecture, the St. Peter's Church, the Old Town Hall, and the Mangturm (a historic lighthouse).
