The dry season, from November to April, is generally considered the best time to visit León, offering pleasant weather for exploring the city and enjoying outdoor activities. However, the shoulder seasons (May and October) can also be good options, with fewer crowds and still favorable weather conditions.

León offers a variety of activities. You can surf at nearby beaches like Las Peñitas and Poneloya, hike up Cerro Negro volcano for volcano boarding, explore the nearby nature reserves, or take a day trip to the historic city of Granada.
