Kiama

The best time to visit Kiama is during the shoulder seasons, spring (September-November) and autumn (March-May), when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. Summer (December-February) is also popular, but it can be crowded, and prices may be higher. Winter (June-August) offers cooler temperatures and the chance to see migrating whales.

Popular activities in Kiama include visiting the Kiama Blowhole, swimming and surfing at the beaches, walking the Kiama Coast Walk, exploring the local shops and cafes, visiting the Kiama Lighthouse, and whale watching (seasonal). You can also enjoy picnics, fishing, and exploring the nearby Minnamurra Rainforest.

Kiama is easily accessible by car, train, and bus. By car, it's approximately a 1.5-hour drive south of Sydney. Regular train services run from Sydney Central Station to Kiama Station. Buses also operate in the area, connecting Kiama with other towns and attractions.
