Hirosaki

The best time to visit Hirosaki is during the cherry blossom season, typically late April to early May. However, the city is beautiful year-round, with autumn foliage in the fall and snow-covered landscapes in winter offering unique experiences.

The must-see attractions include Hirosaki Castle and its park, the Hirosaki Apple Park, the Tsugaru-han Neputa Village, and the samurai district. Exploring the various temples and shrines is also highly recommended.

Hirosaki is easily explored on foot, especially the central areas. Public transportation, including buses, is available. Taxis are also readily available for longer distances or when you prefer a more direct route.
