Must-do activities in Fajardo include visiting the bioluminescent bay at night, taking a ferry or boat trip to Vieques or Culebra, exploring El Yunque National Forest, snorkeling or diving in the clear waters, and enjoying the local cuisine at the many restaurants.

You can reach Fajardo by car, bus, or taxi from other parts of Puerto Rico. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan is the closest major airport. From there, it's approximately a 1-2 hour drive to Fajardo, depending on traffic.

The best time to visit Fajardo is during the dry season, which runs from December to April. The weather is generally sunny and pleasant during these months, making it ideal for outdoor activities. However, the shoulder seasons (May-June and September-November) can also be a good time to visit, with fewer crowds and potentially lower prices.
