Edfu

The main attraction in Edfu is the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. It's dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus and features stunning carvings and architecture.

Edfu is accessible by road, train, and Nile cruise. Many tourists visit Edfu as part of a Nile cruise itinerary. Trains and buses also connect Edfu with other major cities in Egypt, such as Luxor and Aswan.

When visiting the Temple of Horus, it's advisable to dress respectfully. This includes wearing clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. Comfortable shoes are also recommended, as you'll likely be doing a lot of walking.
