Denizli

Pamukkale is a UNESCO World Heritage site located near Denizli, famous for its stunning white terraces formed by calcium-rich thermal waters. These terraces, or travertines, are a unique natural phenomenon and a major draw for tourists.

Besides Pamukkale, visitors can explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, which features well-preserved ruins, including a theater, necropolis, and temples. The city of Denizli itself offers local markets, traditional Turkish cuisine, and opportunities to experience the local culture.

Denizli has its own airport, Denizli Çardak Airport (DNZ), with flights from major cities in Turkey. It's also accessible by bus from various locations. Once in Denizli, you can easily reach Pamukkale by dolmuş (shared taxi) or organized tours.
