The best time to see polar bears in Churchill is during the fall, from late October to mid-November, when they gather near the coast waiting for the Hudson Bay to freeze over.

The most common way to get to Churchill is by air, with flights available from Winnipeg. Alternatively, you can take the train, a scenic but longer journey, also from Winnipeg.

Besides polar bears, you can see beluga whales in the summer, various bird species throughout the year, and potentially arctic foxes, caribou, and other wildlife depending on the season.
