Candelaria

The main attractions include the Basilica of Candelaria, the Plaza de la Patrona de Canarias with its bronze statues of the Guanche chiefs, the black sand beach, and the charming promenade filled with shops and restaurants.

Candelaria is easily accessible by car or bus from other parts of Tenerife. It's about a 20-minute drive from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island's capital. Public buses (Titsa) regularly serve the town.

The best time to visit Candelaria is during the shoulder seasons (spring and autumn) when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are smaller. However, the town is enjoyable year-round, especially during the annual festivities in February and August.
