Caceres

The historic quarter of Caceres is a must-see, including the Plaza Mayor, the Arco de la Estrella, the Concatedral de Santa María, and the various palaces and towers that dot the city. Exploring the city walls and the Jewish quarter are also highly recommended.

The best time to visit Caceres is during the spring (April-May) or autumn (September-October) when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are smaller. The summer months can be very hot, while winter can be cooler, but still enjoyable.
