Boquete

The dry season, from December to April, is generally considered the best time to visit Boquete. The weather is sunny and pleasant, ideal for outdoor activities. However, the shoulder seasons (November and May) can also be a good option, offering fewer crowds and still enjoyable weather. The rainy season (May to November) can bring heavy rainfall, but also offers lush landscapes and fewer tourists.

Popular activities in Boquete include hiking Volcán Barú, visiting coffee plantations, ziplining, white-water rafting, bird watching (especially for the Quetzal), exploring the cloud forests, and relaxing in the hot springs. The town also offers a vibrant cultural scene with local markets, festivals, and opportunities to interact with the friendly locals.

The easiest way to get to Boquete is by flying into Enrique Malek International Airport (DAV) in David, which is about an hour's drive from Boquete. From David, you can take a taxi, a shuttle, or a bus to Boquete. Alternatively, you can rent a car and drive from Panama City, which is a scenic but longer journey.
