The best time to visit Bonito is during the dry season, from May to September, when the weather is sunny, and the water visibility is at its peak. However, the shoulder seasons (April and October) also offer pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

The easiest way to get to Bonito is by flying into Bonito Airport (BSO). Alternatively, you can fly into Campo Grande Airport (CGR) and take a bus or hire a transfer to Bonito, which is about a 4-hour drive.
