Key attractions include the Werner Chapel, the ruins of Stahleck Castle, the Old Town with its half-timbered houses, and the town walls. A stroll along the Rhine River is also highly recommended.

The best time to visit Bacharach is during the spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. Summer (June-August) is also popular, but it can be crowded.

Bacharach is easily accessible by train, with a station located in the town center. You can also arrive by car or by taking a river cruise along the Rhine. The nearest major airport is Frankfurt Airport (FRA).
