The best time to visit Astoria is during the summer months (June-August) when the weather is warmest and driest. However, the shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October) can also be pleasant, with fewer crowds and still enjoyable weather.

Astoria is accessible by car via US-101. The closest airport is Portland International Airport (PDX), approximately a 2-hour drive away. Shuttle services and rental cars are available from the airport.
