Arapahoe Basin

Arapahoe Basin is known for its long season, often opening in October and closing in June or even July. The best time to visit depends on your preferences. Early season (October-November) offers fresh snow and fewer crowds, while the spring season (April-June) provides sunny days and softer snow. Mid-season (December-March) typically has the deepest snowpack and the busiest crowds.

Arapahoe Basin offers a diverse range of terrain suitable for all skill levels. Beginners can enjoy gentle slopes and learning areas, while intermediate skiers and snowboarders have access to groomed runs and varied terrain. Experts will find challenging steeps, tree runs, and the famous 'The Beavers' area, known for its extreme terrain and expert-only access.

Arapahoe Basin itself does not have on-site lodging. However, there are numerous lodging options available in the nearby towns of Keystone, Dillon, and Silverthorne. These towns offer a variety of hotels, condos, and vacation rentals, providing convenient access to the resort and other amenities.
