Alberobello

Trulli houses are traditional Apulian dry stone huts with conical roofs. They are unique to the Alberobello area and are characterized by their whitewashed walls and distinctive grey roofs. The roofs often feature symbolic markings.

The best time to visit Alberobello is during the shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October) when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. Summer months can be hot and crowded, while winter can be chilly.

Alberobello is accessible by train and bus from major cities in Apulia, such as Bari and Brindisi. Driving is also an option, and there are parking areas available, although parking in the town center can be limited, especially during peak season.
